Bordj Bou Arreridj: The Wilaya Agency celebrates the International Day of Rural Women.

During her working and inspection visit to the capital of the Bibans, the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women Condition accompanied by the Director General of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit and wali of the wilaya of Bordj Bou Arreridj, has officially opened the local micro-activity ehibition for rural women organized on the occasion of the celebration of International Day of Rural Women, which coincides with the October 15 of each year.

This exhibit brought together no less than 30 rural women, working in various sectors of activity such as handicrafts, agriculture, processing industry, etc. Thus, this event was an opportunity for these women to make known and market their products.

Furthermore, the Minister kicked off the training sessions organized on this occasion. Thus, two workshops were set up: the first was about "Informing and guiding the rural woman on the granting of micro loans", the second was about, "Managing a very small company".

Moreover, an institutional booth was set up. This later garnered significant interest from the visitors, and was animated by the wilaya agency’s staff, who told about the microcredit program as well as the financial and non-financial services granted by the Agency.

At the end of the opening ceremony, the Minister remitted bank checks for the new beneficiaries of the microcredit program, as well as certificates to honor the disabled exhibitors.
