Signature of a partnership convention between Lafarge-Algeria and ANGEM

On the occasion of the convening of the micro business exhibition, organized by ANGEM from 27th to 30th november 2014, a signing ceremony of a partnership agreement setting the framework for collaboration between ANGEM and Lafarge-Algeria, took place at the institutional stand of the agency, in the presence of several ministers and government officials.

This cooperation aims to insure the economic inclusion of vulnerable populations, by integrating them into a dynamic of local development around sites of activity and production of cement, concrete and aggregates of Lafarge Algeria company.

The accompaniment process for the incorporation in the economy will be through:

•      The training of young artisans, beneficiaries of micro loans ANGEM, to installation of decorative concrete, in the research laboratory Applicative Lafarge Algeria, located in Rouïba;
•           Allowing these young craftsmen to have access to funding within ANGEM programme;
•           Encouraging the creation of micro enterprises in the domain of application of concrete;
•           The integration of these micro enterprises in a network of applicators, subcontractors and partners of Lafarge-Algeria.

There is no doubt that this partnership will contribute to the professionalization of the building trades, the creation of enterprises in this field, creating jobs, as well as improving the appearance of cities.
