The Wali of Annaba, together with the CEO of ANGEM, Ms. Souade Bendjemil, formally inaugurated the regional micro-enterprise exhibition, themed “Microcredit, driver of sustainable development”.
The event brought together 40 beneficiaries of the microcredit program from five wilayas, showcasing inspiring examples of successful projects that displayed their varied products, thereby illustrating the crucial role of support in generating wealth and creating jobs.
The Wali and his delegation visited the booths of the participants at the exhibition, where they could discover successful small businesses built in the fields of crafts, agriculture, fishing, and services.
Additionally, the delegation took part in a training session on e-commerce, aimed at equipping young individuals with modern digital tools to effectively promote and market their products.
Furthermore, the opening ceremony featured speeches and presentations that underscored the significance of innovation and partnerships in enhancing the local economy, while also highlighting success stories. A fruitful exchange also covered the principles of the green and blue economies, as well as the role of micro-enterprises in fostering sustainable and profitable development for all.
The event concluded with the signing of strategic agreements intended to support environmental and marine projects, thereby reaffirming the commitment of the State and the agency to assist young people and develop areas of sustainable investment.
