ANGEM takes part in the celebration of the International Day for Biological Diversity

The Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit (ANGEM), Ms. Souade Bendjemil, participated on May 22 in the celebration of the International Day for Biological Diversity, organized by the Ministry of the Environment and Quality of Life under the theme: “Algeria: Ecological Diversity.”

The event was presided over by Ms. Kaoutar Krikou, Minister of the Environment and Quality of Life, and attended by the President of the Constitutional Court, ministers from participating countries, members of the Government, representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as officials from numerous national institutions and organizations.

The celebration highlighted Algeria’s commitment to biodiversity conservation as a key pillar of sustainable development. It also served as an opportunity to raise awareness of the vital importance of protecting ecosystems and preserving the country’s natural resources.

ANGEM’s participation reflects its commitment to supporting national environmental and biodiversity initiatives and promoting the principles of sustainable development, in line with the country’s strategic vision for biodiversity conservation and the sustainable management of natural resources.
