ANGEM takes part to the national employment and entrepreneurship forum

Ms. Souade Bendjemil, CEO of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit, took part in the National Employment and Entrepreneurship Forum organized by the High Council of Youth at the Algerian School of Hospitality and Restaurant Management in Algiers.

Also present at this forum were: Mr. Mustapha Haidaoui, Minister of Youth, Mr. Noureddine Ouadah, Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, Mr. Abdelhak Saihi, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, and Ms. Salma Bakhta Mansouri, Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of African Affairs.

This national meeting seeks to provide a platform for dialogue and exchange on mechanisms to support employment and foster youth entrepreneurship. It also highlights the various public institutions and organizations that support project leaders, as well as their role in promoting an entrepreneurial culture and contributing to economic development.

Following the event, the ministers, along with the CEO of ANGEM, visited the booths dedicated to microcredit beneficiaries, where they could explore a variety of micro-projects and financed products, gaining valuable insight into the nature of the activities carried out and the program’s role in supporting project initiators and promoting entrepreneurship.

This initiative clearly demonstrates the contribution of microcredit to enhancing local production and reinforcing the dynamism of the national economy.
