On November 22, 2025, the training for accompanists and trainers in the domain of “processing and preserving fruits and vegetables” was successfully concluded. This event occurred from November 20 to 22, 2025, at the Powerhouse Center located in Draria, Algiers.
This training session is an integral component of the new strategy implemented by the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit (ANGEM), which aims to diversify its training offerings and enhance the skills of its staff. The objectif is to enable them to effectively assist productive project leaders and promote new business opportunities for the agency’s service beneficiaries.
Through this initiative, ANGEM intends to provide its staff with the essential technical knowledge required to support project leaders operating in this sector, helping them develop high-quality and competitive products, this training also seeks to expand marketing opportunities for microcredit beneficiaries and encourage the creation of innovative micro-enterprises, especially in the agri-food sector.
On this occasion, the CEO of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit, Ms. Souade Bendjemil, delivered a speech highlighting the significance of this training.
She underscored the importance of enhancing the technical skills of the agency’s staff in the field of food processing, particularly in the processing and preservation of fruits and vegetables, in order to strengthen their capacity to support productive projects. She also praised the trainers’ efforts, emphasizing the quality of the training and the exceptional organization of the session.
