ANGEM’s CEO takes part in the national campaign to plant 5 million trees

On the sidelines of the closing ceremony of the second National Micro-Enterprise Exhibition, held in the wilaya of Oran, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit, Ms. Bendjemil Souade, took part in the national campaign to plant five million trees. This participation reflects the Agency’s ongoing commitment to environmental initiatives that support sustainable development.

The operation took place at Oran local agency, where argan trees were planted with the contribution of a microcredit beneficiary. The beneficiary’s nursery has experienced remarkable growth, with production reaching nearly 60,000 seedlings. This successful experience highlights the positive role of microcredit in supporting environmental projects and strengthening the local economy.

This initiative forms part of a broader approach aimed at promoting a culture of environmental investment and strengthening the link between micro-activities and sustainable development, thereby reaffirming the Agency’s role in supporting projects with strong economic and ecological value.
