Meeting to evaluate the partnership between ANGEM and the World Bank

As part of the joint efforts deployed by the National Agency for the Management of the Microcredit and the World Bank to promote women’s entrepreneurship and support the digital transformation of micro-enterprises, the CEO of ANGEM, Ms. Souade Bendjemil, welcomed on November the 4th, 2025, a delegation from the World Bank composed of 14 members representing seventy-seven countries, at the “AD hôtel”.

Alongside this meeting, an exhibition was organized to showcase the products of the women who benefited from the microcredit program. During this exhibition, the beneficiaries shared their experiences, highlighting the positive impact of the training, which opened up new business opportunities for them.

During the meeting, ANGEM’s CEO gave a presentation on the agency, its mission, objectives, and services, emphasizing its key role in the economic empowerment of project promoters, particularly women. She also detailed the program designed to strengthen women’s entrepreneurial skills in the field of e-commerce.

This presentation was an important step in deepening the understanding of the program’s context and measuring the impact of the partnership between the agency and the World Bank on enhancing women’s capacities and facilitating their integration into digital markets.

The meeting resulted in rich and constructive discussions, on prospects for expanding cooperation and establishing new support mechanisms for micro-enterprises through digital platforms.

For their part, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to ANGEM for its support, which goes well beyond simple financing, stressing that this support is an essential factor in the sustainability and success of their projects.
