Mr. Noureddine Ouadah, Minister of the Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, along with Mr. Ibrahim Ghemird, Wali of Chlef, and in the presence of Ms. Souad Benjamil, Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit, officially launched the program untitled “Tamkeen: Supporting Entrepreneurship for All… Moving Forward” with the inauguration of its digital platform.
The platform enables project leaders to register remotely through a simple, transparent, and secure process. It represents a key step in the modernization of public services and the advancement of digital transformation.
During the launch ceremony, the Minister also inaugurated the program’s first training session, bringing together 60 project leaders. The initiative aims to enhance participants’ entrepreneurial skills, expand their knowledge, and provide continuous support throughout the process of establishing and developing their businesses. It contributes to fostering an entrepreneurial culture and encouraging local economic initiatives.
On the sidelines of the event, the Minister, accompanied by the Wali and the CEO of ANGEM, awarded accreditation certificates to approved trainers, as well as financing certificates to several beneficiaries of the microcredit program. This initiative reflects the commitment of public authorities to empowering project leaders, facilitating the implementation of their ideas, and supporting them in building successful and sustainable businesses.
As part of this visit, the delegation visited the confectionery workshop of Ms. Fatima Khalifawi, a beneficiary of the microcredit program, where they could learn about the various stages involved in the production and marketing processes of her business. They commended the efforts made to expand and strengthen her small business, as well as her contribution to local wealth and jobs creation.
The delegation then visited the workshop of Ms. Seddika Radouan, another beneficiary of the microcredit program, who specializes in both traditional and modern sewing. With the support of her family, she has successfully diversified her activities by developing projects in agriculture, poultry farming, beekeeping, and honey production. Her experience represents a concrete example of family entrepreneurship and highlights its positive role in promoting economic and social stability.
The organization of this event is part of the programs implemented by the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit to foster entrepreneurial culture, expand access to financing and support mechanisms, and enable project leaders to create successful and sustainable micro-enterprises.
