On the sidelines of the participation of ANGEM in the International Fisheries and Aquaculture Exhibition which took place from November the 6th to 9th , 2025 at the Mohamed Ben Ahmed Exhibition Center in Oran, and in partnership with the National Chamber of Fisheries, the CEO of ANGEM, Ms. Souade Bendjemil, signed a cooperation agreement with the Algerian Chamber of Fisheries and Aquaculture aimed at promoting the creation of micro-entreprises in the field of fisheries and aquaculture, provide ongoing support to project holders throughout the process of creating their small businesses, organize awareness campaigns and training sessions regarding the agency’s services, and enhance access to financing for young professionals and small investors.
The CEO also stressed the need for coordination between the two sectors to enable young people to benefit from the programs offered by the agency, such as financial and non-financial services, and the benefits granted.
The CEO of ANGEM, Ms. Souade Bendjemil, stressed that this agreement will give a significant boost to young people to create micro-enterprises and multiple jobs aimed at improving their economic and social conditions, increasing the production capacity of the maritime fishing sector and moving towards more sustainable and efficient methods.
