Ms. Souade Bendjemil, CEO of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit, and Ms. Chiraz Bechiri, CEO of Algérie Poste, signed a framework agreement on March 17, 2026, formalizing a partnership between the two institutions aimed at supporting microcredit beneficiaries providing them with modern and secure payment solutions

Under this agreement, microcredit beneficiaries will gain access to the services of Algérie Poste, including the opening of postal current accounts, streamlined fund transfer and receipt operations, and the use of electronic payment methods. This will enhance the management of their economic activities and facilitate their gradual integration into the formal economy.

This initiative aligns with the Agency’s strategy to modernize its services and improve accessibility for all citizens, particularly those in remote areas, by relying on the extent of the national network of Algérie Poste.

The partnership also reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to support microenterprises and encourage individual initiative, thereby contributing to economic revitalization and job creation.
