The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Mr. Yacine El-Mahdi Oualid, officially inaugurated the 10th edition of the International Fisheries and Aquaculture Exhibition, which took place from November 6th to 9th, 2025, at the Mohamed Ben Ahmed Convention Center in Oran, under the theme: “Fishing and Aquaculture; Innovations and Promising Partnerships”.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-enterprises, Mr. Noureddine Ouadah, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit, the CEO of NESDA, representatives from the supervising ministry, as well as senior state officials, ambassadors from Arab countries and the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources of the Sultanate of Oman.
ANGEM showcased its presence at this significant event with an institutional booth aimed at promoting microcredit, the services it provides, and the diverse financing options available.
The booth knew an enormous craze especially among young individuals eager to create their own micro-enterprises, especially within the fishing industry.
