Participation of ANGEM to the celebration of World Food Day

At the invitation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, the National Agency for Management of Microcredit took part in the World Food Day celebrations, which coincide with october 16 of each year, which took place at the Palais de la Culture MOUFDI ZAKARIA.

ANGEM has marked its presence at this event by setting up an information and awareness area on the services offered by the agency for the creation of income-generating activities, as well as exhibition of products made by rural women.

During the opening session, Mrs. Ghania EDDALIA, Minister of National Solidarity, Family and the Status of Women, gave a speech in which she presented the various social assistance granted to disadvantaged populations by the Ministry. of the National Solidarity of the Family and Women Condition, and which takes care of the vulnerable groups and the handicapped, in particular in the enclaved zones, and this through the social cover and the assistance offered by the National Solidarity Fund, as well as programs managed by the Social Development Agency and the National Agency for Microcredit Management.

During the visit of the ministerial delegation to the exhinbit, the National Microcredit Management Agency presented two models of success for rural women.

The first, comes from the wilaya of Blida, is a rural woman with a university level, and who invested in the production and manufacture of cheese through the collection of milk among rural farmers, which is an example of the formal social economy.

As for the second model, it concerns a rural woman working in the field of beekeeping, from the wilaya of Boumerdes, in a region that suffered from the Black Decade, which represents a symbol of challenge and reflects the efforts made by the National Ministry of Solidarity Family and Women Condition in the stabilization of rural populations in their area of origin.
