The Ministry of National Solidarity, Family and the Women Condition celebrates the World Day of Rural Women

On the occasion of World Rural Women's Day, which coincides with October 15 of each year, and under the patronage of the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women Condition, Mrs. Kawtar Krikou. The Ministry of National Solidarity, Family and Women Condition organized on Thursday, October 14, 2021, the rural women's fair under the slogan: "rural women: Training, Financing, Insurance" at the Palace of Culture Moufdi Zakaria-Algiers.

Several activities were organized during this ceremony, including:

An exhibition of rural women's products, which highlights the successes achieved by women in the economic field, particularly in job creation and access to employment. This exhibition brought together no less than 33 women beneficiaries of the micro credit program, and working in the sectors of crafts, small industry, agriculture, as well as the manufacturing industry.

Two training workshops, one for the accompanist of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit in the field of insurance under the theme: "development of capacities and knowledge in the field of insurance and reinsurance", and the other for the benefit of the executives of local and solidarity cells, under the theme: "development of capacities and knowledge in the field of small projects", aimed at personalized support for rural women.

Thus, the Ministry of National Solidarity, the Family and Women Condition, through the microcredit program, aims to promote and support women in general, and rural women in particular, for integration into the world of entrepreneurship and achieve economic and social empowerment.
