The CEO of ANGEM, Mrs. Souade Bendjmil, hosted a ceremony to honor ANGEM staff, which was attended by the representative of Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts, the National Secretary of the General Union of Algerian Workers (UGTA), responsible for the department of occupational health and the welfare of working women, the CEO of the Center for Information and Communication Technologies, the CEO of the National Chamber of Crafts and Trades, the representative of the CEO of the Algerian Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development. The event was held at CETIC.
At the opening of the ceremony, the CEO of ANGEM delivered an opening address in which she stated that the Workers’ Day represents much more than a mere symbolic event, it embodies a renewed commitment to convey a message and to serve the nation and its citizens, in order to enable them to achieve their economic and social ambitions.
She further stated that job creation is a key focus of Algeria’s economic and social policies, given its central role in fostering stability and comprehensive development.
She also highlighted the crucial role played by ANGEM as one of the main levers of economic diversification.
In her address, she commended the significant efforts made by the agency’s staff and executives to achieve the agency’s objectives.
She also expressed her appreciation to the retired employees and executives for their valuable contribution during their years of work.
On the sidelines of this event, a documentary highlighting the impact of the microcredit in job creation was screened.
Furthermore, the ceremony included special moments during which a group of executives and employees were honored for their commitment, dedication, and valuable contributions towards fulfilling the agency’s objectives.
Retired executives of the agency were also honored, along with the family of Mr. Hafsi Farouk, who passed away this year, in addition to the wilaya executives who achieved the best results in terms of reimbursement and financing, the best communications officer, the best recovery officer, the best support worker and the best trainer.
