The Secretary General of the Wilaya of Oran, inaugurated the National Young Craftsman’s Exhibition alongside the General Director of ANGEM, Mrs. Souade Bendjemil, and the General Director of the Chamber of Crafts and Trades, and in the presence also of the President of the National Chamber of Crafts, the General Director of the National Agency of Crafts, the Director of Tourism and Crafts, local cardes, civil authorities, as well as executives of the Agency.

This new edition of the exhibition, organized by the National Chamber of Crafts and Trades from July 19 to 26, 2025, at the Mediterranean Village of Oran saw the participation of a large number of artisans from different wilayas of the country

ANGEM, for its part, made a notable impression at this event by with the participation of no fewer than 30 artisan exhibitors benefiting from the microcredit program, and working in various traditional and artisanal fields, such as weaving, pottery, traditional jewelry, woodworking, embroidery, leatherwork and other crafts that reflect the richness of the national heritage.

Moreover, this event offered a space to showcase the achievements of young artisans and highlight their creativity. It also provides an opportunity to enhance synergy among the different stakeholders in the craft sector and to support young craft project leaders towards a more professional and sustainable approach.
