The Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts officially inaugurated the International Tourism and Travel Fair along with the Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women’s Condition , the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-enterprises, the General Director of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit, the General Director of Customs, General Director of various national and economic organizations, ambassadors, the President of the Arab Tourism Organization, Dr. Bandar Bin Fahd Al Fahid, as well as a number of members of parliament.

This 24th edition of the International Tourism and Travel Fair, organized by the Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts from July 12 to 15, 2025, took place at the central pavilion of the Palais des Exposition, Pins Maritimes in Algiers.

The exhibition saw the participation of several start-up project leaders and craftsmen, particularly from the southern wilayas, as well as a number of travel agencies, hotels, and national banks. The event also brought together exhibitors from 27 foreign countries.

The National Agency for the Management of Microcredit, showcased its presence at this event with an institutional booth aimed at promoting its services, highlighting its contribution in fostering local development and entrepreneurship.

This event aimed to promote Algeria’s tourist assets, underscoring the diversity of its natural, cultural offerings, and thus give new impetus to the tourism sector by encouraging investment in this area, supporting start-ups and craftsmen, and creating a space for exchange and collaboration among different stakeholders in the tourism sector. This initiative will enhance sustainable partnerships and fulfill Algeria’s aspirations for tourism that is both authentic and modern.
