In celebration of the National Knowledge Day, observed annually on April 16, ANGEM‘s CEO, Mrs. Souade Bendjemil, along with the East Algiers’ NESDA manager, the manager of the Local Agency for the Management of Microcredit of East Algiers, a representative of the Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture and a representative of the Directorate of Training and Vocational Education, officially opened the micro-activity exhibition under the theme: “Creativity, …. the path to entrepreneurship”, at the Aissa Massoudi Cultural Center in the commune of Hussein Dey.
This exhibition saw the participation of a number of microcredit beneficiaries, working in various fields such as : sewing, embroidery, soap and cosmetics manufacturing, confectionery, art object manufacturing, and services. Partner organizations and institutions involved in the implementation of the microcredit porgram were also present at this event.
As part of this event, the ANGEM‘s CEO visited a training workshop attended by nearly 20 beneficiaries of the microcredit program, focused on enhancing microenterprise management. She also gave the starting signal for the awareness caravan, that is set to tour multiple training centers, cultural centers, and youth centers.
This caravan aims to enhance understanding of the microcredit program as well as the procedures involved in accessing both the financial and non-financial services provided by the agency.
After meeting with the East Algiers Agency’s executives and staff, the ANGEM‘s CEO commended them for their contributions to the success of this event, she also called for intensifying efforts to advance the agency’s progress.
