Implementation of the partnership agreement between ANGEM and Algeria Telecom

In an effort to foster entrepreneurship and support ambitious youth, the partnership agreement between Algeria Telecom and ANGEM was officially put into effect during a meeting attended by the CEO of Algeria Telecom, Mr. Adel Bentoumi, the CEO of ANGEM, Mrs. Souade Bendjmil, as well as a number of executives and representatives of the two institutions, and a large number of young interns from Algeria Telecom, and regional executives of the two institutions via videoconference.

This agreement, signed on April 29, 2025, illustrates the mutual vision of both parties to enable young entrepreneurs and support them in the growing of their projects, thereby contributing to promoting economic development on national scale.

During this meeting, Mr. Adel Ben Toumi, CEO of Algeria Telecom, delivered a speech highlighting the importance of this agreement, which he deems crucial for both Algérie Télécom interns and the youth.

Indeed, this agreement will allow them to develop their projects and encourage active participation in the country’s socio-economic development. He further stated that the implementation of the terms of the agreement would enable young Algerians and Algeria Telecom trainees to quickly connect Algerian homes and families to the fiber optic network.

During this event, Mrs. Souade Bendjemil delivred a speech in which she outlined the objectives of this agreement, encouraging young people to launch into the world of entrepreneurship.

She also discussed all the actions taken by the agency to simplify the implementation of the agreement’s provision.

In addition, Ms. Zerari Samiha, the Program Development executive, gave a comprehensive overview of the agency, its organization, its services, and its achievements from its establishment in 2005 to the end of 2024.

Mr. Mahmoudi Mohamed, Advisor to Algeria Telecom’s CEO, also presented the achievements of the company and its impact on the national economy.

He underscored the company’s role in promoting digital inclusion and local development, highlighting the importance of fiber optic connectivity and the training of project leaders in the realm of information and communication technologies.

The meeting ended with a constructive debate, in an atmosphere of interaction, enabling the young interns to ask all their questions.
