As part of the joint efforts between the International Labor Organization and the National Agency for Management of Microcredit to promote entrepreneurship and enhance economic integration, the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-enterprises, Mr. Noureddine Ouadah, along with by the CEO of ANGEM, Ms. Souad Bendjemil, officially launched the Tamkeen program, in the presence of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-enterprises, the Director of the International Labor Organization in Algeria for the Maghreb countries, the representative of the CEO of the National Agency for International Cooperation for Solidarity and Development, the representative of the CEO of Taxes as well as executives of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit, at the Sheraton Hotel in Algiers.
During the opening speech delivered by Mr. Noureddine Ouadah, Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-enterprises, he indicated that the effective launch of the Tamkeen program will be done with the assistance of the International Labor Organization.

Being a major partner in fostering entrepreneurship, a first team specialized in the training of 25 executives of the agency as trainers certified by the International Labor Organization, was formed, in order to guarantee ensuring a substantial impact on the field
He further underscored the significance of this program, highlighting its practical and effective aspect, and that the training period would not exceed two months, in addition the trainers will be able to train the beneficiaries of the micro-credit program in several wilayas of the country.
During this meeting, a documentary film was screened illustrating the success stories of the microcredit beneficiaries who have thrived in their projects.
The Agency also presented the Tamkeen program, emphasizing its benefits and significance. Furthemore, a presentation by the International Labor Office was conducted dealing with the technical method for implementing the Tamkeen Program.
At the end of this event, a group photo was taken with the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups and Micro-Enterprises, the CEO of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit along with the participants and executives of the agency.
