As part of the “Spirit of Algerian Creativity and Beauty” exhibition, organized by the Center for Arts and Culture at the Palace, Fort 23 in coordination with Modern Concept Foundation, Wassila Abrous, an accompanist at the National Agency of Microcredit Management, delivered a presentation for the participating artisans.
During the presentation held on January 16, 2025, Abrous highlighted how artisans could benefit from the microcredit loans offered by the agency, outlining the main conditions and requirements for obtaining this financial support. She explained that the microcredit loans are available in two main formats: the first is funding for the acquisition of raw materials, aimed at providing artisans with the essential resources needed to carry out their activities. The second is project creation funding, which is designed to help artisans establish new projects and enhance their production capabilities.
In addition to financial services, the presentation covered the non-financial services offered by the agency, including training, guidance, and continuous support. Abrous emphasized that these services are aimed at enhancing artisans’ skills, providing them with necessary guidance, and assisting them in overcoming challenges.
She also reviewed the new facilities provided by the agency, such as the launch of a new website that facilitates registration and enables quick and efficient access to the required information and services.
The presentation was met with widespread interaction from the artisans, who asked numerous questions and showed significant interest in the services offered. They expressed their appreciation for the support provided by the agency to ensure the success of their projects and the achievement of their goals.
