In an effort to review the activities and accomplishments of the National Agency for the Management of Microcredit, Mr. Noureddine Ouadah, the Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Microenterprises, conducted a site visit to the social headquarters of the General Directorate of ANGEM on December 16, 2024. During this visit, he was welcomed by Ms. Souade Bendjemile, the agency CEO.
At the beginning of this visit, the Minister, along with the accompanying delegation, conducted an inspection of the agency’s offices. This provided the employees with the opportunity to express their concerns and gain insight into the working conditions.
Ms. Souade Bendjemile, the agency CEO, provided a presentation to the Minister, highlighting the agency’s progress along with key statistics and achievements on both human and financial resources, as well as the agency’s future goals. In response, the Minister stressed the need to accelerate the digitization process of the agency’s services, calling for enabling the citizen to access all stages of support digitally and effectively, keeping pace with modern technological developments.
During his visit, Mr. Noureddine Ouadah praised the agency’s initiatives in implementing a digital loan collection system. He also advocated for the widespread adoption of electronic payment methods to facilitate the process of repaying loans and bring the agency’s services closer to the citizen.
At the end of the visit, the Minister appreciated the efforts made by the Director General, and expressed his thanks and gratitude for all the tremendous efforts made by the Agency’s employees, stressing the commitment of the supervising ministry to continue support and accompaniment to ensure the achievement of the set and desired goals.
